Social Enterprise World Forum
October 14, 2014 - October 16, 2014
Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) was developed and first launched by CEIS in partnership with the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, Highlands & Islands Enterprise and various International partners.
A steering group consisting of social enterprise leaders, committed to collaborating internationally, oversee the SEWF to advance social enterprise development and to resolve the world’s social challenges.
The inaugural forum held in Edinburgh in 2008, marked the beginning of this annual international gathering attended by 400+ social enterprise practitioners and support agencies from around the globe. Traversing the continents, the SEWF was hosted by Melbourne, Australia in 2009; San Francisco, USA in 2010; Johannesburg, Africa in 2011; Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in 2012; Calgary, Canada in 2013 and being hosted by Seoul, South Korea in 2014. The forum has grown exponentially having welcomes over 1200 delegates from 30 countries.
CEIS Events has experience in managing all aspects of the SEWF from programme development to speaker, sponsor, supplier, exhibition, logistics and delegate management etc. We also provide remote and onsite support to all SEWF hosts as the experienced steering group event management partner.
