Board Recruitment
Community Enterprise in Scotland (CEIS) is currently recruiting for a Vice-Chair of the Group Board.
CEIS was established in 1984 and is a registered charity and registered company. Since our inception we have grown our Group to include two subsidiaries and a number of joint ventures to form CEIS Group of Companies. Our mission is to build a more inclusive economy to reduce inequality and make Scotland a better place to live and work. Collectively we are doing this by providing business development, accessible funding, training and employment opportunities.
Having built up a reputation as a trusted organisation with nearly 40 years’ experience, we want to drive to embed social enterprise in the heart of the Scottish economy alongside the Scottish Government and other vital partners.
We are looking for a new Vice-chair to join the CEIS Board. As well as supporting and deputising for the Chair, the role of the Vice-chair is to ensure that the CEIS Board have adequate oversight of Group-wide operations. The role is suited to those who have experience of organisational management and reporting driven by that mission of creating a more inclusive economy in Scotland.
