Clyde Valley Tomatoes, is expanding their operation with a new range of consumer products under the label ‘Clyde Valley Kitchen’. These products will include tomato ketchup & relish, a range of soups and juices; all of which will drive to build their brand and business. Obtaining a loan from DSL Business Finance has allowed Clyde Valley Tomatoes to achieve this business expansion and supported them in reaching their goals.
According to an article by the Herald, Cate Devine reports the business has in its second season grown sales by 60% to around £350,000.
Owner David Craig said “If it (Clyde Valley Kitchen) proves successful we will be looking into moving to a larger production facility. In the medium to long term I hope the Clyde Valley Kitchen will become a bigger part of the business than the tomatoes.”
