Delving in to the exotic

Posted in: .

West Lothian based The Living Room Zoo is a new start exotic animal pet shop specialising in reptiles.   The shop stock various reptiles, some of which the owners breed themselves, alongside exotic varieties of mammals and common domestic pets. Food and accessories for their extraordinary range of pets can also be purchased and they even offer a boarding service to look after your beloved pets while you’re away.

Co-owners Jenn and Ewan, whose love of the more exotic pets stemmed from a young age needed funding to help with the start up costs.  Having managed to secure some funding from the Princes Trust they still had a funding gap which DSL Business Finance was able to assist with.

“We found the process with DSL really easy and straight forward. Without the help of DSL and their funding we would not have been able to proceed with our dream of opening our own Exotic and domestic pet shop. The help does not just stop with the funding, you are given support and guidance after you have opened your business, and we are pleased to say our business is doing great.”
