We have a lot to be shouting about here at CEIS HQ in Govan, as we have just been confirmed as ongoing contract manager for the Scottish Government’s Just Enterprise Programme, to provide business support and development services to enterprising Third Sector Organisations across Scotland. CEIS along with consortium partners HISEZ, Firstport, Social Enterprise Academy, Forth Sector Development, Community Enterprise Ltd, CEMVO Scotland, Lanarkshire Enterprise Services, Ready for Business and Inspiralba will continue delivering the programme until at least 2016.
Since the programme was first launched by Scottish Government in 2011, the Just Enterprise consortium has exceeded all targets and is on track to provide business support, start-up advice and deliver leadership & learning to over 4,300 companies in the Third Sector.
Anne Marie Allan, Just Enterprise Programme Manager for CEIS commented –
“Winning this tender is a fantastic result and massive recognition of the work the team here and other consortium partners have delivered. We very much look forward to the new contract commencing at the beginning of June and would urge all social enterprises and budding social entrepreneurs to take advantage of this programme and get in touch”.
Just Enterprise Programme is open to all third sector organisations, whether established or new and can deliver support and training in all areas of business from advice and support on how to create a business plan, support with sales and marketing strategies through to staff training.
