Social Enterprise Policy & Practice Conference
The Social Enterprise Policy & Practice Conference is Scotland’s largest annual policy event attracting up to 240 delegates each year. In its twelfth year, and with increasing global interest in the Scottish Social Enterprise Sector, it is regarded as the go-to event in the Scottish social enterprise calendar.
Every two years the event features the launch of Scotland’s Social Enterprise Census, which generates extra interest and increased attendance as the Census has been a policy influencing resource since its launch in 2015.
Social Enterprise Census 2019 will be the third Scottish Census and the sector is awaiting its release with interest. The Census data and findings reflect many of the unique features of the social enterprise movement in Scotland as well as pointing the way for further strategy and policy interventions.
CEIS, Social Enterprise Scotland and Glasgow Caledonian University are collaborating to host Scotland’s Social Enterprise Week from 2nd – 5th September in Glasgow, featuring the International Social Innovation Research Conference, Scotland’s Annual Social Enterprise Policy & Practice Conference and the Social Enterprise Exchange Marketplace.
The week will be of interest to social enterprise leaders & practitioners, academics, students & researchers, support agencies, national & local government and commercial sector businesses looking to trade with social enterprises. For further information download our brochure.
